
The Students Supporting Students program or approach is a student-led peer support program that aims to train students to be able to respond to their friends' needs. In this program, students work in various ways – informal and formal – to listen to their friends, to help them solve their difficulties and to build a whole-school ethos of caring and support.
Students are trained in active listening, verbal and non-verbal communication, problem-solving and confidentiality
