Whitefriars College is a Catholic Boys? Secondary College run by the Carmelite Order. The college motto, 'Almae in Fide Parentis' (In the Protection of a Loving Mother), conveys something of the school?s spirit and the way in which it endeavors to reach out to the students in its care.
Through its mission as a Catholic College, Whitefriars seeks to enable students to understand the principles and values of the Catholic faith and to experience these principles and values in a caring community to which they feel they belong. The college staff rely heavily on the support of parents in the education of the boys entrusted to its care. Whitefriars believes that a cooperative relationship between home and school provides the foundation for effectively pursuing its aims and ideals.
