Mill Park Secondary College, Mill Park
The Journey from 2003 and Beyond Mill Park has been using the MindMatters resource kit since the end of 2002 and the school believes that it has probably been one of the best things that have been implemented at the school. The school has had a very robust pastoral care program, which has been going for over 10 years, but incorporating MindMatters into the pastoral care has strengthened the program because more have been trained on wellbeing and mental health issues. Being a MindMatters Plus Demonstration School has allowed the school to offer extra programs to support the school's pastoral care program and the wellbeing of its students. Through its involvement in the MindMatters Plus Demonstration Project the Mill Park Secondary school has been able to strengthen its student leadership program. Mill Park has a committed team of people who are involved in monitoring and implementing MindMatters across the school. All staff at the school, the management, administration and teachers, support the MindMatters team.
