In-School Initiatives. Pastoral care structures
The school manages its year level structures by having two year level coordinators per level to support four classes. The additional staffing enables teachers to have more support and students benefit from it also by having a range of teachers to interact with in a pastoral care context.
MindMatters Plus GP Initiative: Developing partnerships between schools, Divisions and GPs
The local Division held a workshop for doctors in the area and gave a presentation to school staff. The school aims to develop a network for an early intervention approach for the school and parents. The school is now working on referral pathways as a means of consolidating the network.
