Working with community The Reconnect Program is an early intervention program funded by the Commonwealth Government. It aims to keep young people who are at risk linked to family and school, and potential employers. The program is delivered through Anglicare in SA. In the northern suburbs of Adelaide a meeting was held with all the school counsellors to provide information about the program. One of the Reconnect staff has developed an ongoing partnership with the staff and students at Fremont Elizabeth school, meeting with young people in the school and visiting them in their homes. As part of the MindMatters Plus initiative in the school, the Reconnect worker undertook the ACE training with teaching staff and then worked with them to implement the program with students.
